Welcome 2007

Here at Deluxe Designs we are ready for 2007!  We have started putting together classes for the 2007 year, and look forward to seeing YOU this year!  Please find our schedule on the left hand side of our blog to see where you'll find Deluxe next.

Deluxe Designs will also be exhibiting at CHA this January!  If you're a store owner, please stop by and check out all of our exciting new product!

And speaking of new product...have YOU seen our new Chip Chat and Chip Bases??

Chip Chat accents are printed on a thick chipboard, just like our Plain Janes Shapes. The artwork was created by Amanda and Katherine with fun and inspiring phrases and images. Chip Chat pieces are an easy and beautiful way to dress up a layout, card or gift tag.  (Chip Chat come with two coordinating accents per pack)

Like the Chip Chat, Chip Bases are printed on a thick chipboard.  Unlike their counterpart, Chip Bases are create with a distressed look ready for YOU to add the phrase or accents on top.  Printed in your favorite colors, Chip Bases look like you've done the painting and distressing...when all you did was add adhesive!  (Chip Bases come with four coordinating pieces per pack, two of each shade.)

Welcome Jonathan!

Deluxe Designs would like to welcome the newest member to the Deluxe family...baby Jonathan!!  Owner Jolleen and her husband have been waiting for this sweet baby boy to arrive, and he is here just as perfect as can be.  Jonathan made his way into the world on Sunday night at 9:41 pm.  He weighed 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is 20.5" long.  Congratulations to Jolleen and her family!!  We wish you much happiness and joy!!

Wondering where that "Precious Baby Boy" came from on the card?  That's just a little Chip Chat that I'll share with you later!  :)

Thank you everyone for a great 2006 show schedule!!  We loved traveling around the U.S. teaching classes and meeting each and every one of you!

Page by Design: Sketch Challenge 4

Before sharing the new sketch, I want to thank everyone who came out for the Bay Area Scrapbook Expo!!  Deluxe Designs kicked off two new classes; 25 Creative Ways To Use Chipboard and Treasured Secrets.  It was a great show and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

GROWING UP QUICKLY

Instead of using the ST-8 pieces I painted a 1/2" border around my 12 X 12 background (this is also were I added my journaling).  I painted and doodled onto our Plain Jane Chipboard Paisleys for a fun embellishment.
